My favorite sceen is where Millie is about to give birth to Ashley's baby and Prissy says "Oh, Miss Scarlett, I don't know nothin 'bout birthing no babies."

FAVORITE SCENE....Hattie McDaniel scowls at Scarlett for her devious plan to win over Ashley before the men go off to war.
McDaniel gives Miss Scarlett an evil stare and with a whisperey hiss, she says: " Aw, Miss Scahlett..
You ...jus' lak a SPIDER!! ".. my best friend from high school and I used to hoot and howl over that amazing moment in such an amazing film.

The first time I saw Gone With The Wind I was 8 years old and I was hooked from then on!! My favorite movie of all times besides Wizard Of Oz.

I love the whole movie, but the scene where Scarlet is wearing a dress made out of curtains and Rhett teases her about it, was pretty funny.

I like the burning of Atlanta scene

My mother's favorite movie, my favorite movie and now my 11yro daughter loves it too! What a chore you've given me, to choose just one favorite scene. ;-) I have so many!

The birthing scene where Prissy says I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' babies and Scarlett slaps her

When Rhett is leaving to join the Confederate Army and Scarlett begs him not to go and Rhett says he loves her in spite of her/him and the whole silly world falling to pieces.....and Because we're alike. Bad lots, both of us......

When Atlanta is burning

When Scarlett vows to never go hungry again

and oh so many more but I think my top fave would have to be "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."

Now you've done it - now I gotta go dig out the movie and grab the box of tissues and lose myself for a few hours. ;-)

We (mom, my daughter & I) would so love to win the dvd set (no blueray player here) and enjoy many a girls night in with Scarlett & Rhett. Thanks for a great giveaway.

Exactly, I think she may have had a master plan. Her whole schtick makes for good reality TV and she definitely gets a lot of press.
