Welcome to our group! I was in the same situation years ago but then I realized that I want a child for the wrong reason.I realized it was deeper than my biological clock it was that longing for someone to love and someone to love me back with no judgment and unconditional I was not content being alone.At that time I was not ready for a baby but I later got pregnant when I stopped worrying about it and focused on completing myself before the baby got here.It is hard a s single mother especially in this econmy and I was a single mother and now I run a nonprofit for single mothers in Atlanta and I'm at the shelters in the court system in extended hotels trying to inspire them and keep there children from acting out because moms stressed and we feel it and now we are too.Email me if you want to talk more in detail

I am 27 years old and want a child badly. My family things that I dont need a child because I am single and I need to be married first. But all the men my age are either married or dogs. How am I suppose to find some one who with those odds. I just want a child and I know alot of people say adopt but its hard to adopt as a single person. Being that im only 27 im young to be adopting as a single parent. And im in the military and that makes it a double negative against me because we move so much. Does anyone have any advice? PLS

Option 2 Change Inc.is a nonprofit 501c3 assisting single mothers throughout metro Atlanta we help to restore the balance of family,community,and advancement of education. Our organization is having a member orientation and volunteer regristration on November 7th ,2009 @ the douglasville public library please check out or website for more information.

hey y'all-glad to see a group for us peaches! i'm a transplant originally from s. florida-moved here in '93-luv it! we live in a n.w. burb of the city-just moved into a different home in oct. '08-left a s/d and bought on a private residential street on about 4.5 acres-miss being right by my friends, but am settling in nicely. looking forward to meeting you ladies!
