You will never stop hurting, but you can and will keep on living, My son stopped moving when I was 7 and 1/2 months, on 9/13/08. I honestly thought when they did the ultrasound he was gonna be fine, but he wasn't.
Something thats really helped me is having a memorial. It says he's real to the rest of the world, and it is so important to not feel so alone. I know your arms and your belly feel hollow right now, mine do too. My love goes out to you.
I'm not sure how, but we can both get through this

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too sufffered a miscarriage and I was depressed for quite sometime, but with family and prayer, I learned to cope. I'm sending a big, warm hug to you. My advice is to stay busy, very busy. But take time to grieve. I know how it feels. I lost my oldest son, Steve, 6 1/2 years ago in an auto accident. I never got to say goodbye. The holidays are a time I dread each year. Steve was just a few weeks past his 40th birthday. I still miss him and will always. But I have learned to cope one day at a time.

Hugs, Pat

Right now just concentrate on living for the sake of your children. Look and them and appreciate that they are there.

You need help. Depression is a life-threatening illness. Look for a counselor who is skilled in dealing in these issues.

I'm sorry that you had to suffer a loss that was of your baby those are a definete pain in the heart and you end up with empty arms syndrome.

I had losses so I know the pain it brings and many sympathies go out to you . To help your healing write in a journal, release a balloon with a note attached to it saying a word to your baby, setting up a your memorial of your lil one on a webpage, get a ring with a stone of his loss date saying memory of my baby angel loss on but always in my heart .

I'm extremely sorry for your loss. My goal as an ob-gyn physician is to try and minimize these types of tragedies. If you were sixteen weeks pregnant and this happened, you want to see if you have an incompetent cervix. The next time you get pregnant (after you've healed emotionally), have your healthcare provider measure your cervix after 14 weeks to see if it's "short." You may have what we call an "Incompetent Cervix" and might require a "cerclage" which is a "stitch" around your cervix to help hold your baby inside until it's fully mature. You can visit my website www.smartmothersguide.com and see the book that I've written (The Smart Mother's Guide to a Better Pregnancy) to help women reduce complications such as the one you've experienced. There's a great organization called First Candle that is dedicated to help moms who have lost babies. They have 24-hour counselors, here's their website: http://www.firstcandle.org/about/aboutus.html

I hope this info helps and will keep you in my prayers.

you can't change a thing ,its not ur fault...my daughter died @ two years old in her sleep from multiple birth defects, and i know what ur saying for soooo long its like a movie camera rolling every second of the last time i spoke to her or kissed her or turned off her night light ...then of how long i did CPR and how long it took the ambulance to get there and could it have changed anything????????? no it couldn't because what happened inside her body i had no control over...grieveing is a process of healing, you will have better days than others, people use to tell me it will get easier,no it doesn't u learn to accept what u can not change...i think about my daughter all the time and i would even go into my youngest daughters room every night for the longest time and lay my hand on her chest to make sure she was breathing,i was soo afraid i would loose her too...even though she is healthy,in alot of ways i found myself being to over protrctive of her and i had to back off,but it took me seeing it regardless of what anyone said, its a great lose indeed but i try to focus on her laughter and she love to have her hair brushed, and she adored music...ur gonna make it ,God may not move your mountain but He will climb it with you...
